Re: EMPTY SEVERS
Of course I will. I have to help Finland defend team cup victory . I'll show up at around eight (1 hour before team cup), as usual.

Re: EMPTY SEVERS
Yesterday there were almost 15 players in warm up at around 7-8 in the evening (UTC+2). That's more than I've seen in a long time (on non-tournament days). A lot of people play nearly everyday. Incidently, I've been playing pretty much every evening lately, and I haven't seen you around a lot, Georg...

Re: 1.7.0
If the quoted two weeks means two weeks of full time work, then that's a lot of time. And if Jussi starts working on something else besides DSJ (I don't know, maybe he already has), it's not very realistic to expect him to be able to create many hills every year. Effectively he'd have to spend most ...

Re: 1.7.0
two weeks.. not so long Jussi did you calculated sometime who it costs to create one Hill at an average size so arround HS130? including power costs and all that stuff It doesn't cost anything to create a hill, but I would like to get a reasonable compensation for the work that I am doing. It takes...

Re: Online stat calculator
Updated the site for next season, hopefully someone will use it :) . The app should now be much more intuitive to use (I hope) and also looks a bit nicer. I think the page loads a bit faster as well. NEW FEATURES: New, more pleasant (hopefully) color scheme Elements positioned and sized more logical...

Re: World Championsip online
Hard to say; it might be either really exciting or really boring. Something like this should be tried out in small scale first to see if its feasible (meaning, there could be a room in online game for this kind of game mode). I think it would work well with maybe up to 10 players but not sure about ...

Re: The future of DSJ
Dear Jussi, is it possible that you'll make and share DSJ3 Hill Editor? Hills in DSJ3 are very simple; it could be like hills editor in Ski Jump International 3; so, it will be very fun for DSJ fans No chance as it was written earlier... Where? Many places: searching for "hill editor" ret...

Re: The future of DSJ
DSJ5 sounds quite utopistic at this point. That's a shame (though not surprising). I guess, with no sight of DSJ5 in the future, it would make even less sense to keep developing DSJ4 (because what's the point of pleasing customers if they can't buy anything)? I wouldn't be that sorry if DSJ4 develo...

Re: The future of DSJ
@maciej My post was a joke, but I wonder if that idea could be feasible if it were taken a bit further. That comment by Jussi you quoted was directed, as I see it, at a proposal to release a final version of DSJ4 and then start DSJ5 from scratch. Jussi can't charge us for updates so the intuitive th...

Re: The future of DSJ
Maybe he could remake them and call it DSJ5, so we can pay for the new hills .Maciejo-96 wrote:I think every modernised hill which exist actually in DSJ4, should be remade but only if Jussi considers if it will be necessary.

Re: Best viewing perspective/camera viewpoint for jumping?
Every time this discussion comes up I'm always surprised how many people use the default cameras, considering how diverse the editing possibilities are. I always use a F2/F3 hybrid, meaning this: http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj626/MJumper/camera_angle2_zps51e62980.jpg http://i1271.photobucket...

Re: The future of DSJ
Other should do the same, I guess (mainly on big community sites, post the thread about it in off-topic subforums and that's it). You're right that it can't hurt of course, I meant that it probably won't change Jussi's situation in any remarkable way though. Anyway, if I were a bit more involved at...

Re: The future of DSJ
#1 Deluxe Ski Jump 4 thread on another forum It's nice to read about DSJ on another forum ...because people are saying mostly nice things. This forum, as long as I've been here, has seemed mostly like some kind of customer complaint department, and not much like the supporting community I'd wish it...

Re: The future of DSJ
Me damiit, so why I paid you for next year subscription? I believed that you're gonna do something meanwhile summer time for next winter, but now I see that it was a big mistake. As a developer I'm very disapointed with your "campaign" to get more players to this game. I don't think it ma...
